Date: August 14-16 (Thu-Sat), 2008
Venue: Town and Country Hotel, San Diego, CA
Abstract Due: Extended to April 20, 2008
Final Paper Due: July 1, 2008

OBJECTIVES

The Aerospace Science and Technology Symposium (ASTS) provides an ideal forum for aerospace scientists and engineers from the U.S. and Korea to share and disseminate scientific knowledge, research results, and application trends with a view toward promoting scientific interactions between the participants. This symposium has traditionally been built around promoting fellowship between the participants from multidisciplinary backgrounds, providing broad networking opportunities to Korean-American aerospace professionals.

TOPICS

The ASTS organizing committee solicits papers from all areas of aerospace sciences, technologies, and applications. New developments in all areas of analytical, numerical, or experimental contributions covering the following core disciplines are of interest:

  • Fluids and Aerodynamics
  • Propulsion and Combustion
  • Materials and Structures
  • Dynamics and Control
  • Systems and Design

Also, review papers and in-depth tutorials are welcomed in any specialist topics relevant to the following fields:

  • Aircraft and Spacecraft Engineering
  • Air and Space Telecommunications
  • Space Exploration

SCOPE

A wide range of topics will be covered from academic research to practical applications.
