From LAX to Caltech (Stop 1)
From Los Angeles International (LAX) airport, Claim your luggage then step out to the van stop at the outer island and contact SuperShuttle Guest Service Representative to arrange a van to Pasadena. Tell the driver the destination to be "Caltech Stop 1". The fare is $16.00.
From Caltech Stop 1 to LAX
Depending on each individual's return schedule, arranging van service could be made by calling Supper Shuttle (Tel: 909-984-0040). The KSEA Conference Secretariat could also arrange transportation for group of seven people. The group rate is $10 per person (from the Stop1 to LAX for $70 per Van riding with 7 people together).
Burbank Airport instead of LAX
The Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena Airport is the closest airport to downtown L.A. It's right in the middle of the action. Less than 10 minutes to Disney, NBC, Warner Bros and Universal. Cut out your travel time by cutting out your freeway time. You can even link up to your flights with Metrolink (Mon-Fri only) and Amtrak with their convenient nearby stations and free shuttles that let you cut out freeway hassles altogether. The airport is also a stop on MTA bus lines. Car rental counters are located in Terminal B. Shuttles and cabs are available on the islands in front of the terminal. For more information,
