Advanced Materials Technology (AMT) Symposium
for Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, and Ship Building Applications

Objectives:
· Provide a forum to discuss recent advances and future trends in materials technologies.
· Build / reinforce professional networks and fellowship among the Korean materials scientists and engineers in the US and Korea.

Scope and Topics:
The symposium will cover all aspects of science, technology, and applications of advanced materials and methods with the focus areas in, but not limited to, Automotive, Aerospace, Energy, and Ship Building Applications.

Date and Venue:
August 10-13, 2006, Teaneck, New Jersey, as part of UKC 2006 conference.

Abstract and Paper Submission
Prospective authors are invited to submit a copy of the abstract electronically by March 31, 2006 to UKC2006 website (www.ksea.org/UKC2006) by following the abstract format provided in the website. Full papers are due by July 1, 2006, and can be submitted by either a short or full text format provided in the website or a compilation of presentation slides.

Other Information:
· Social events are being planned
· Dinner with AMT speakers and organizing committees: August 10, 2006
· 20~30 minutes are programmed to present a paper (all presentations in English)
