OBJECTIVES
 

The primary objective of the Young Generation and Professional Forum (YG&PF) is to attract Korean-American undergraduate and graduate students in science and technology and Young Professionals in the Region to offer invaluable networking opportunities with prominent leaders attending UKC 2008 and to provide workshops specially designed for career development to out perform in early years on the job.

SCOPE
 
  • YG&PF participants will attend primarily from the region within a driving distance. Travel reimbursement is intended to cover expenses up to 200 miles. Special consideration will be given to a limited number of YG&PF applicants from Midwest , Southwest and East coast regions.
  • All successful applicants must meet the following requirements:
    • A ˇ°paidˇ± member of KSEA for the current term, and
    • Submission of a personal statement about your aspiration in life or current career goals, or
    • Submission of an abstract/poster presentation at UKC 2008 on a technical topic of your choice.
  • All scholarship recipients attending UKC2008 are expected to participate.
  • Career Development Workshop and Panel Discussion will be open to ˇ°Registeredˇ± YG, YP and KWiSE members.
