UKC 2010 - Speakers & Presenters - Presentation Format

PCs, beam projectors, and laser pointers will be provided for oral presentations, and easels (36”H x 48”W) for poster presentations. Policy on Presentation Materials: UKC would like to preload your presentation materials to shorten the transition times. However, all presentation materials will be deleted right after each session.

Invited Presentation:

  • It is a 30-minute oral presentation. You should use Power Point (PPT) slides if you wish to use the PC provided by UKC. In such a case, you should put the file in a memory stick and hand it over to your session chair during the break proceeding your session.
  • It is fine to use your own PC or Apple.

    Regular Presentation:

  • It is a five-minute oral presentation followed by one hour poster presentation during the poster session on the same day as the oral presentation.
  • You HAVE TO use Power Point (PPT) slides to reduce the transition times. You should put the file in a memory stick and hand it over to your session chair during the break proceeding your session.

  • You may use a large poster to fit into a 36”H x 48”W easel or the printed version of PPT slides (up to 12 8”x11” slides) for poster presentations.
