When and where will the conference take place?
The Annual Conference will take place Aug. 21-24 in San Francisco at the Hyatt Regency SF Airport (https://ukc.ksea.org/ukc2024-venue/venue_1). Please do not confuse it with other Hyatt hotels in the San Francisco area.
What are the parking options and fees at the hotel?
The Hyatt Regency SF Airport provides special event parking ($15 after validation) for the UKC attendees. Please review this validation instruction before driving to the Hyatt Regency SF Airport. For parking details, please refer to UKC2024 website (https://ukc.ksea.org/ukc2024-venue/travel).
What is the registration cost?
All conference registration costs will be listed on the registration page (https://ukc.ksea.org/registration/registration).
What are the benefits of early bird registration?
Early birds will receive discounts on a registration fee of $200. Please find more details (add link).
When will registration open? How do I pay for the registration?
Registration opened on June 10th, 2024. Participants may register online. Please do not miss the early bird registration to get the discount. The early bird registration deadline is July 3rd, 2024.
Can I purchase single day pass?
No. Sorry that we do not provide a single-day pass.
Can I purchase meal ticket or gala ticket on site?
Yes. The Registration Desk offers purchasing options for the on-site single meal and function tickets. Please be advised that the on-site tickets are more expensive, and we highly recommend that you purchase all tickets during online registration to get discounts.
What if I cannot attend the in-person conference, will there be an option to attend virtually?
No. We do not offer a Virtual attendance as an option.
What is the registration cancelation policy?
Requests for refunds will be honored during early registration period only. No refunds will be made after the early registration has ended. Registrations are NOT transferrable between participants.
Are there any organized shuttles?
Hyatt Regency SF Airport provides a shuttle transportation service from the airport to the hotel.
What is the attire for the conference?
Business casual is the dress code for all conference events. Evening wear or formal wear has traditionally been worn at the gala dinner.
How do we register for FIRE? Are FIRE participants required to attend UKC as well?
Regarding the registration information, please visit the FIRE website (https://fire.ksea.org). For more information, please send any questions to fire@ksea.org. FIRE Symposium is part of UKC, and thus attendees SHOULD attend other UKC sessions besides FIRE to get the most out of their experience.
Are there job fair or on-site interview opportunities for attendees?
Yes. Many institutions and companies participating in the exhibition are very interested in interacting with young professionals and researchers and recruiting. Some of them are also planning to have interviews during UKC.
Can I print my poster at the hotel?
No

Are there any other restaurants available near the hotel?
There is one restaurant in the hotel. Please google if you want to use restaurants around the hotel.
What is the expected weather?
