OBJECTIVE AND TOPICS

This symposium addresses Energy and Environment Technologies (EET), focusing on emerging technologies and applications. With the global warming and energy issues, EET becomes very important and has been a key technical area recently in terms of both geopolitical and economic matters. This symposium will cover a wide spectrum of energy related technologies, from renewable technology, sustainability, alternate fuels, greenhouse emission, energy storage, energy efficiency, related measurement technology/standard to fossil fuels and nuclear energy. This symposium will provide the opportunities to explore research collaboration among participating researchers in USA and KOREA. The topics of interests include, but are not limited to,

  • Renewable Energy, Sustainability and Green Energy Technology
  • Energy Resources (including fossil and nuclear) and Alternate Fuels
  • Energy Storage
  • Energy Efficiency
  • Greenhouse Gases
  • Related Measurement Technology/Standard
  • SYMPOSIUM CO-CHAIRS

  • Symposium Chair: Hee-Koo Moon (hkmoon@solarturbines.com, Solar Turbines Inc./Caterpillar, USA)
  • Symposium Co-chairs: Yong Nak Lee (ynlee@htrdltd.com, Heat Transfer R&D Ltd, USA)
    1. Jong-Nam Kim (jnkim@kier.re.kr, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Korea)
Yong-Heack Kang (yhkang@kier.re.kr, Korea Institute of Energy Research, Korea)
