The Young Generation Forum (YGF) at the US-Korea Conference (UKC) is a program designed and tailored for students and early-career professionals that generally have less than 5 years of work experience. As they progress through the earliest stages of their academic or industry careers, many of them may face familiar situations or questions:

  • Should I go into academia or industry?
  • Is it okay to pursue a career in a field completely outside of my area of study?
  • What are recruiters looking for in a resume or interview?

The Young Generation Forum at UKC will organize various workshops and speakers to cater to topics such as these, but also highly encourages participants to take advantage of the opportunity to attend sessions from other symposiums and forums at UKC.

The Young Generation Forum at UKC primarily focuses on undergraduate students, graduate students, professional students (medical, dental, pharmacy, etc.), recent graduates, and early-career professionals.

There is a separate application for YGF which can be found under Submit/Apply > Apply to YG/PF.
