About UKC 2020

Sustainable Development & The Future

December 14-17, 2020, USA (December 15-18, 2020, Korea) in Virtual

UKC 2020 is hosted by three prestigious organizations – the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), Korean Federation of Science & Technology Societies (KOFST), and Korea-U.S. Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO).

The theme of UKC 2020 is “Applied Science/Engineering with Social/Cultural Disciplines for a Sustainable Future.” We would like to address the importance of “humanity” in the era of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML). Social scientists are invited to discuss how to better apply technologies to make a sustainable future, collaborating with scientists and engineers.

The UKC 2020 provides valuable opportunities for cooperation between the United States and Korea. With a rich history spanning over thirty years, the UKC program includes plenary sessions, symposiums, forums, and workshops that cover broad areas of science and technology. In addition, UKC 2020 includes Young Generation and Professional Forum (YG/PF). We plan to provide a meeting space for young entrepreneurs to share their ideas and build international networks. We welcome your participation and look forward to seeing you at UKC 2020!
