The Office of International Science and Engineering (OISE) at the National Science Foundation (NSF) leads science diplomacy and science policy activities by working with various governmental funding agencies overseas.  These international collaborations are crucial for enhancing bilateral and multilateral relations to explore solutions to global challenges, including not limited to climate change, health crisis, cybersecurity, and other critical global issues. During the KSEA R&D leadership forum, we will explore potential international collaboration opportunities between the U.S. and Korea governmental research institutes to benefit global S&T communities. As a keynote speaker, Dr. Stacey Standridge will introduce the NSF programs to enhance the adaptability and global competence of the U.S. engineering workforce, preparing it to meet contemporary challenges and opportunities in a rapidly evolving technological landscape. After that, the invited participants will engage in roundtable discussion led by Dr. Jae Ryu by facilitating the exchange of knowledge, skills, and best practices across borders from their perspectives.
