It is with profound honor that I extend a warm welcome to you at the 37th US-Korea Conference on Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (UKC 2024). This distinguished event is jointly organized by the Korean American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST), and the Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO).

We are enthused to host this remarkable gathering, bringing together scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs from both Korea and the United States. The rapid evolution of Artificial Intelligence (AI) has become a transformative force across various industries, steering advancements in big data, robotics, and the Internet of Things (IoT), including generative AI. AI will undoubtedly remain a pivotal technological force, shaping the future in ways we are only beginning to comprehend. In light of these dynamic changes, it is imperative for scientists, engineers, and entrepreneurs to converge, exchanging knowledge and insights to better prepare for the future.

Motivated by the imperative of this evolutionary era, our theme for this year is "The Next Era of Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship with Artificial Intelligence."

Throughout the conference, our aim is to delve into the profound applications of AI across diverse scientific domains, spanning academia and industry, and contemplate its lasting impact on our lives. International collaboration in academia and industry takes center stage in this year's program. By fostering collaboration towards common goals, we endeavor to strengthen relationships and push the boundaries of scientific and technical knowledge for the mutual benefit of both countries. Furthermore, we are dedicated to uniting the regional Korean IT, bio, and pharma professional societies in a special forum that underscores the strength and quality of collaborative programs.

An integral part of our program is a networking session, providing a platform where individuals from various scientific disciplines, transcending generations and fields, can come together to cultivate unity and collaboration.
