As part of the UKC conference, high school students selected from the United States and Korea share their knowledge and culture while exploring STEM fields. They engage in activities such as meeting with a Nobel laureate, networking with scientists and engineers, and visiting world-renowned institutions and laboratories. Additionally, they present their research projects at the conference, thereby deepening their STEM knowledge and strengthening their aspirations for future careers in STEM.
Science Gifted Student Poster Presentation Competition
- Organize and operate a research poster presentation venue and panel of judges
- Organize and operate an oral research presentation venue and panel of judges
- Invite expert mentors for students
- Prepare awards for youth participants
Science Gifted Student Communication & Exchange
- Host a forum and meeting with a Nobel Laureate
- Organize networking meetings and career counseling with seniors in the science and technology fields
- Plan and operate academic and cultural exchange programs between Korean and American gifted science students
- Plan and organize visits to local institutions and meetings with scientists
Expert Forum
- Host and operate a joint forum by the Foundation and KSEA (Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association) focused on nurturing talent in science and technology
Conference Participation
- Promote the institution through program books, promotional videos, and newsletter advertisements
- Invite VIPs to gala dinners, conduct pre- and post-surveys, and jointly analyze effectiveness
