Each oral or poster presenter is eligible to receive registration discounts, as indicated in the chart above, and also receive travel support up to $400 based on the distance from your home address to the UKC location, as shown in Table 1 below. Please refer to the Travel Support page for more information.
Travel Reimbursement Policy
Travel Reimbursement Policy
A. Reimbursement for your travel is provided up to the maximum amount based on the one-way Google map distance from your home address to the UKC venue, as shown below:

B. Reimbursement for driving a personal vehicle is calculated at $0.50 per mile one-way, up to the maximum amount indicated in the table above.
C. The reimbursement amount covers all travel expenses (excluding hotel lodging and meals), including airfare, baggage fees, parking, subway, shuttle, taxi, Uber/Lyft, rental car, tolls, personal vehicle expenses, etc. Other costs such as hotel tips will NOT be reimbursed.
Additional Notes:
Documented proof of travel is required.
An Individual who serves multiple roles must choose one role for reimbursement purposes.
KSEA membership for the 2024-2025 term is required to receive any level of support.
You are not eligible if you receive any travel reimbursement from any other sources, including your affiliated institution.
Reimbursement requests must be submitted within 30 days after the email announcement providing instructions for travel reimbursement.
Hotel support is provided up to half of the group-negotiated rate at the Omni Atlanta at Centennial Park (starting from $149/night plus tax and service charge) if staying at an outside hotel.
All meals must be purchased in advance through your UKC registration. Meal support may be available depending on your participation.
The maximum reimbursement amount is equivalent to the group rate, even if staying at the conference hotel (starting from $149/night plus tax and service charge).
