Welcome to the 36th US-Korea Conference 2023 on Science, Technology, and Entrepreneurship (UKC 2023), jointly organized by the Korean-American Scientists and Engineers Association (KSEA), the Korean Federation of Science and Technology Societies (KOFST) and the Korea-US Science Cooperation Center (KUSCO). The conference will be held on August 2-5, 2023 at the Hyatt Regency DFW, Dallas, Texas. UKC 2023 conference will provide unique and invaluable opportunities for cooperation between the US and Korea.
The theme of UKC 2023 is “Discovery, Innovation and Dissemination for Transformative Impact.” UKC 2023 will offer unique opportunities for participants to actively engage in discovery, innovation and dissemination through various plenary sessions, keynote symposiums, technical symposiums and various forums with emphasis on transformative impact on our daily lives, which have been challenged and altered through the pandemic and socio-economic impact of science, technology and entrepreneurship.
UKC 2023 will continue to promote career development of academians, professionals and entrepreneurs with 2023 Scientists and Engineers Early Career Development (SEED) workshop (August 1-2), 2023 Innovation and Entrepreneurship Symposium (IES) featuring start-up pitches and scale-up competitions (August 1-2), and 2023 Fostering Innovation with Rising Experts (FIRE) Symposium (August 3-5).
UKC 2023 will also continue the Future Vision Forum, University Leadership Forum, Science Policy and Diplomacy Forum to bring leaders and decision-makers from the US and Korea to address future global challenges and opportunities in science, technology, higher education, policy-making and diplomatic relations.
